And we were put to the test
To see just how good we could be
So we went back to the real world
To see the trouble and already uncurled
And Myotismon was there from the Digiworld

Well we knew we couldn't just waltz right in
We'd tried that before, how foolish we'd been
So Kari came to help out
But our victory was still in doubt
The two angels shot Matt and Tai
Their Digimon were Megas, we don't lie
And we finally beat that bad guy

We had to bid our folks farewell
They were worried, we could tell

But what we got, we didn’t want
Our new enemies continued to taunt
They were called the Dark Masters
They were the makers of disasters
They had completely changed the look and feel
We didn’t know if it was for real

We went underwater in Whaymon
To escape MetalSeadramon
We resurfaced, that's when Whaymon died
Luckily Wargreymon fought
And MetalSeadramon was finally caught
We made memorials, there were a lot

Something broke out between Matt and Tai
Mimi sat down and started to cry
Matt pushed Tai and Tai pushed back
(Rational thought, they both lack)
We all tried to break it up
But Matt stormed off without any luck
What would we do if we were split up?
Are we the Digidestined?

Something happened off with Matt

He came back and a battle started

Tai beat some sense into him

Mimi and Jyou, they left us too
There wasn’t anything we could do

But he left, sly like a cat
And the rest of use continued to walk

Tai went ballistic and took it out on Izzy
“You’re a bully and a Ruffian,” said Izzy

Machinedramon then was long gone
But he fought dirty and killed the Numemon
LadyDevimon was our next foe
Meanwhile, with Mimi and Jyou
They found Elecmon with a something new
Matt’s harmonica, they were sure they knew
Jyou knew what he had to do
Why can’t we be Digidestined?

TK and Sora went off to find strays
Sora was discouraged and she paid
But Matt and Jyou with all their might
Tried to make Sora see the light
The small group rode Garurumon
And found that Tai was fighting Piedmon
Matt’s crest brought back Wargreymon
Again, we’re the Digidestined

Piedmon turned us all into keychains
Excluding Kari, Patamon and TK
They somehow escaped
Angemon finally Digivolved
And all our problems were finally solved
That is until Gennai called

Appocolomon took all our power
It seemed the world was his to devour
We figured the power was inside us
We had to defeat him, we must
He shamefully blew himself up
We went home without a cut
And that just about sums our story up
